Inception is MIND-BLOWING!

I become an avid fan of Christopher Nolan since watching Memento during my undergrad days. First time I watched Memento I could not fully comprehend the movie. Since then I would have watched the movie couple of times to understand every bit of conversation in the movie.

Last night I watched Inception, the latest movie directed by Christopher Nolan. I had read reviews the day before and most of the reviews called the movie as awesome, brilliant, mind-blowing, masterpiece and all other adjectives possible. Excited like a little child, I went to the movie but with a little apprehension that the movie would be kind of difficult to understand. But Nolan proved me wrong. The movie is simply brilliant in its storytelling. The movie has a simple premise. Cobb (Leonardo Dicaprio) is trained in going into other people’s dreams and steal their ideas. But in his last assignment, he has to plant an idea in Robert Fischer Jr.(Cillian Murphy) instead of stealing them. He joins with the experts (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Dileep Rao) needed to accomplish the job.

It is a heist movie that you have never seen. The story is so original and makes you not want to look anywhere else but the screen. I remember a girl shouting in the interval whether we are in a dream or reality. Such is the impact of the movie. There were a lot of goosebumps moments in the movie especially the zero gravity action encounter between Arthur(Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Robert Fischer Jr’s men. When the movie ended, the audience gave an reaction that can be explained only by the awesomeness of the movie.

The movie will make you talk about it for a couple of days. Watching Inception made me feel what it really means to be MIND-BLOWING!
